Hotel Plaza San Francisco underwent extensive renovations and remodeling ($5 million in upgrades) in the past few years to become one of the best hotels in the city center. Hyatt Regency(Av. Kennedy 4061, Las Condes Tel: 2-950-1234, www.hyatt.com) Speaking of renovations, the Hyatt Regency Santiago underwent a $6 million renovation, practically gutting this classic Santiago hotel. Views of the surrounding Andes mountains are stunning, service is superb, and the dining is among the best in the city.
